Cotton Tote Bags are Biodegradable

Biodegradable is a pretty big buzz word right now in the "eco friendly" community. What does it mean to be biodegradable? My unofficial definition of biodegradable is a material that decomposes into its natural state and has no effect on the environment. So, cotton canvas is one of the best materials that can be used and be called biodegradable.

Since cotton is a natural growing fiber, cotton tote bags will biodegrade back into their natural state and decompose right into the ground. The cotton fibers are taken and woven into a thick, heavy material that is sewn into bags, tshirts, etc. Rarely are any extra chemicals added to the bags other than dyes and ink. Another good material that is biodegradable and has little to no effect on the environment is jute. Jute and Cotton tote bags are great for the environment because they are durable, reusable material, and they are biodegradable.

Large Quantity Tote Bags

Everybody knows that there is savings when buying in bulk. For example, my wife and I always buy our grocery meat in larger quantities and divide it into smaller quantities that are adequate for one meal. Then, we freeze the meat and use the smaller quantities of the meat for meals later.

The same is true with promotional items, especially tote bags. GreenBagPromos.com has great price breaks for larger quantity bag orders. So, you can save money by buying larger amounts of tote bags. If you're interested in a lot more savings, we offer even larger quantity inquiries. Cotton tote bags, and non-woven tote bags are available in large quantity orders. There are great prices for both styles of tote bags.

Plus, any of the bags that you see on our website can be ordered in a custom size or color in larger quantities. Contact us about more details.
